Sewer Authority members serve appointed terms of 5 years.

Sewer Authority meets the second Thursday of the month at 7:30 pm.

TBSA treatment center is the Easton Area Joint Sewer Authority.

Billing is done quarterly, March, June, September, and December.
If not paid within 30 days a 5% penalty shall be added. Any bill not paid within 90 days will be considered delinquent and assessed an additional 15% penalty.

Billing & Payment Changes

In an effort to streamline our business operation and to ensure the efficient processing of our Billing and Receipts, the Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority has hired an independent contractor to handle our administrative operations, to include Billing, Payments and Outside Water Meters.

These are all effective as of 9/15/2015:

1. Payments to the Sewer Authority will no longer be accepted by the Borough Office Staff. Checks or Money Orders should be made payable to Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority and mailed to the following address:

2. Hand delivered payments (NO CASH – CHECKS / MONEY ORDERS ONLY) should be delivered in a sealed envelope to:
   C Scott Computer Services, located at 35 S Seventh St., Tatamy PA.
   There will be a mailbox on the front porch clearly marked “SEWER PAYMENTS”.
   
   
3. Cash paying customers will be required to appear at the monthly meeting of the Tatamy Borough Sewer Authority to have your payment processed. The Authority meets monthly on the 2nd Thursday of the Month at the Municipal Building at 7:30PM. The Borough Office and independent contractor will not be authorized to accept cash payments on behalf of the Authority.

Reporting Procedures for Supplemental Home Water Meters

Supplemental water meters are the outside meters that the homeowner installs to the outside spigot for water that does not go into the sewer system, such as water used for filling pools.

Meter requirements are set by Resolution-06-2008-19. There is a fee of $5.00 for the meter permit. Permits and meters can be obtained from C Scott Computer Services. The diversion meter shall be a Sensus meter (or equivalent), 5/8" with a remote generator which shall read flow in gallons. This metering devise may be purchased directly from the Sewer Authority at cost. Currently there are 2 units available for purchase. Installation must be inspected by a Sewer Authority representative prior to use.

If you do not have access to a computer please bring your information to C Scott Computer Services or the Borough office and they will be happy to input your information. Credits will be applied at the end of the calendar year invoicing and will be reflected on the following bill. Please submit readings by October 31st. These credits are given only on a yearly basis per Resolution- 01-2013-20. So please remember to submit each year.

As a service to the community, swimming pool owners can sign out a portable meter from C Scott Computer Services. The meter can be loaned out for a maximum of three (3) days. This is to ensure its availability to all Borough residents in a timely manner.
